BluGreens Regenerative Seaweed

Teamwork makes the dream work

What BluGreens Needs Right Now

As BluGreens transitions from successful pilot trials to national scalability, we're seeking collaborators, contributors, and champions across a range of sectors. Whether you're a seasoned professional, coastal stakeholder, or simply passionate about sustainability — there's a place for you in our mission.

We're entering a critical growth phase, and we're calling on a community of practical partners, creative thinkers, and change-makers to help us scale impact and build resilience for both people and the planet — with our seaweed farm in Plymouth.

We are building a scalable, sustainable model that:

  • Uses underutilised marine infrastructure for off-season seaweed cultivation.
  • Creates nature-based alternatives to synthetic fertiliser.
  • Supports local jobs and biodiversity.
  • Strengthens the blue economy and regenerative agriculture sector.

Impact Investors & Climate-Aligned Funders

We need: Philanthropic organisations, green investment funds, and angel investors aligned with climate, biodiversity, and rural livelihoods.

Agricultural Field Trial Partners

We need: Regenerative farms, growers, allotments, agronomists, and land-based research organisations.

Why: Help us test and validate the performance of our Kelpful Biostimulant on diverse crops and soil conditions.

Marketing, Media & Storytellers

We need: Content creators, marketers, designers, filmmakers, journalists, and social media pros who can help tell our story.

Why: Our model improves marine ecosystems, water quality, and supports resilient coastal economies — providing untapped research opportunities in Plymouth's Ocean City.

Harbour Authorities and Potential Operators

We need: Harbours, marinas, and port operators willing to host small-scale seaweed farming installations using existing infrastructure (moorings, pontoons, quays).

Why: This enables low-cost expansion while bringing economic activity to underused coastal assets.
